Man’s central spirit is the original seed of consciousness, the seed of the true, immortal human. Divine spirit is the positive pole of the Monad. The celestial personality was disbanded due to the fall and being banished to the present dialectic living space, and the central spirit seed lost its opportunity to become manifest. Since then it has been tied to a mortal personality that does not obey. It has to watch helplessly, in an endless process of suffering, how a mortal, dim consciousness of self stands up instead of it, with an unholy, blind insistence on itself. Salvation in Christ aims at ending this unholy rule of the self through the voluntary sacrifice of the self-centered man. Christ’s grace will then revitalize the original personality. The true human, the spiritual human will get a new chance to become manifest according to its task, to the divine plan. See also: human spirit.
