Taking each day of the Christmas season from December 22 – the day of the winter solstice – to January 6 – the day of Epiphany – as an opportunity for reflection and introspection, the authors have assigned specific topics and narratives to aid the reader in their contemplation on the esoteric significance of this Christian spiritual event.

Using the wisdom of the words found in the Aquarian Gospel upon which to build the narratives, each day of the Christmas calendar has been given a focus that emulates the events surrounding the birth of Christ. Not to be understood as an external event, but as an inner spiritual journey that leads to the birth of Christ within the heart, these reflections lift the mind, and therefore the soul, to contemplate the love and sacrifice this spiritual birth represents.

Starting with a reflection on ‘Preparing Yourself’, we are taken on a path of inner contemplation and awareness that will lead us to this inner rebirth. These reflections touch upon subjects such as: ‘Recognising the Inner Being Within You’, ‘Your Assignment in Life’, ‘The Hidden Treasure in your Heart’, ‘Awakening of the Spirit-Consciousness Within You’, and ‘The Descent of the Holy Breath’. Thus we are confronted, not just with a spiritual event that has been a part of history and inspired so many, but with the imperative of bringing this spiritual birth into a reality within us, in the here and now. Each ‘upliftment’ is at the same time a call to action!
