What is reincarnation? It is a fact often mentioned in books on reincarnation that the part of ourselves we are accustomed to calling 'I' is gradually dissolved after death until nothing remains, while an eternal part, sometimes called the 'microcosm', continues to exist, undergoing numerous reincarnations.
