We can agree that the human consciousness is fed by our five senses sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. But opinion is still divided about what it is that we refer to as 'consciousness.' Is it in our brains? Is it in our body? Is it outside of us, and how does it change? Can it change?
How is it even possible that we can be conscious of having a consciousness?
Our senses form the 'gateways' to a dynamic exchange of information from the world around us. Whatever comes in via these conduits defines our consciousness. But also: our momentary state of consciousness defines how we perceive and filter what comes in.
Our life experience implicates the existence of a 'higher environment' with which we long to come…
